London grime rapper Ghetts announces Dublin Academy show
Tickets for the tour will go on sale this Friday, March 12th.
Acclaimed London-based rapper Ghetts has shared details of his Ireland and UK tour, kicking off at Dublin's Academy on November 13.
The grime artist, who released his highly-praised third album Conflict Of Interest, last month, will wrap the tour with a homecoming show at London’s Roundhouse on November 20.
Real name Justin Clarke, the MC/songwriter hails from London's Plaistow area with Caribbean roots from Jamaica and Grenada.
Ghetts’ third studio album, Conflict Of Interest, shot up the UK music charts this week, generating a fanbase tornado online to push it into the No. 1 spot (it nabbed the runner-up spot instead).
The artist released singles 'Mozambique' with Jaykae and Moonchild Sanelly and 'Crud' with Giggs over the last six months, accompanied by eye-catching videos.
Ghetts, previously known as Ghetto, shared his debut mixtape 2000 & Life back in 2005 after his release from prison at the age of 19 two years previously. Clarke is signed to independent record label Disrupt, and released his debut studio album, Rebel with a Cause, in 2014 after further mixtapes Ghetto Gospel, Freedom of Speech and The Calm Before the Storm. His sophomore LP, Ghetto Gospel: The New Testament, came in 2018.
Tickets for Ghett's Dublin Academy show will go on sale on Ticketmaster this Friday, March 12.
