Lizzy McAlpine cancels Vicar Street date
Here's hoping Lizzy McAlpine comes back to Dublin soon, following two Button Factory shows last December.
Philadelphia singer-songwriter Lizzy McAlpine has cancelled her show at Dublin's Vicar Street next week.
The indie/pop musician posted to Instagram in regards to her 'End of the Movie' tour, rescheduling all UK and European dates to preserve her mental and physical wellbeing following the US leg of the jaunt.
McAlpine also added dates at Birmingham, Antwerp and Bristol - upgrading her Manchester venue from the Albert Hall to the O2 Victoria Warehouse.
"Unfortunately we were unable to reschedule our Dublin, Vicar Street date, so this show is now cancelled," Lizzy added. Please contact your point of purchase for a full refund.

"I want to give you all the shows you deserve and to do that, I need to take some time off from touring. Thank you for understanding, see you in the Fall <3".
The 23-year-old released her 14-track second record five seconds flat last April, including hit single 'Ceilings' - which climbed the charts months after its release due to TikTok virality. The hugely compelling LP traced the evolution of McAlpine’s sound from her Indigo EP in 2018 and debut album Give Me A Minute in August 2020.
“Last night was really fun,” she told us in December of her first Button Factory gig in Dublin the night before. “It was my first time performing in Dublin, so it was great, I’m not sure about night two, it always depends on the crowd. I felt like the first audience were receptive and vocal, which I like. They knew all the words. It’s always a little crazy trying to wrap my brain around people queuing so early. It’s happened before every show so far. People started lining up at 5.45 am in the States for that tour.”
