Live Report: Alessi Rose charms 3Olympia with infectious pop anthems
Following her Electric Picnic performance, Alessi Rose returned to Ireland ready to display her full range of tracks, new and old.
Back on tour for the first time since the release of Voyeur (Deluxe), expanding on her July EP, Alessi Rose captivated 3Olympia Sunday night with her charismatic performance.
The artist's rise to fame began with her 2023 debut single ‘Say Ur Mine’ and hasn't slowed down since. With three EPs, support slots for Noah Kahan, Tate McRae and Dua Lipa and an Electric Picnic set at the 3 Music Stage, Rose is no stranger to the spotlight.
Strutting onto stage from behind a lace curtain, the pop singer opened the night with the Third Eye Blind-style 'That Could Be Me'. A cross illuminated behind her, matching up with the stage lights, as the singer's passionate, rhythmic vocals were complimented by a rising and falling guitar riff.

The gig drew a crowd of younger fans, overjoyed to hear the TikTok sensation's hits.
'IKYK' offered a snappy, staccato pop anthem about having a crush, as pink lights filled the room in unison with booming drumbeats.
The night took its first tone shift with the stripped back 'don't ask question'. The Gracie Abrams inspired tune about navigating a relationship while struggling with OCD, featured slow, somber vocals over soft bass notes.
Her fans empathised with the singer as they held up pink lights, swaying side to side with Rose.
Shifting back to her signature lively tone, the crowd erupted as the first notes to the TikTok viral 'First Original Thought' rang out, its groovy instrumentals bouncing off the theatre walls.

As the name implies, the song had an indecisive tone. Breathless, passionate lyrics took centre stage under a haze of green light, while thumping, upbeat bass notes grounded the elaborate track.
'Falling Forever' offered graceful, airy vocals, the choppy rhythm telling the story of an ex who falls for everyone they meet.
Wearing a sparkly pink cowboy hat that was handed to her, repeatedly screaming "I love you Dublin!" and making references aimed at younger fans, she felt right at home in the venue.
"Who's my dumb girl tonight? It's not Sally it's dumb girl," quipped Rose, referencing Role Model's 'Sally', before diving into the somber country-style 'Dumb Girl'. Drawn-out vocals gingerly filled the room, echoed back by an eager crowed, before the artist ran off stage.
The lights twinkled as she sauntered back, breaking into 'RIP', the audience turning into a sea of screams.
The night ended with the opening track to Voyeur 'Same Mouth'. Rhythmic cymbal beats sounded as infectious energy took hold of the crowd one last time.
Rose spun around stage, delivering deep, passionate vocals about the hypocrisy of a one sided relationship before making her final exit for the night.
Alessi Rose treated 3Olympia to a Sunday night full of sing alongs, pop anthems and emotionally venerable tunes; a gig her dedicated fans won't soon forget.
