Jack Lukeman announces two 3Olympia shows for March 2027
Tickets for both shows go on sale this Friday, January 23, on ticketmaster.ie.
Following his recent sell-out performance at Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre celebrating the songs of Jacques Brel, Jack Lukeman has announced he will return to the 3Olympia on March 19 and 20, 2027, for two distinct, specially staged nights.
“I’ve always been drawn to songs that last—whether they’re mine or someone else’s,” says Lukeman. “These two nights are about following that thread: the music that stays with you and the music I’m still writing.”
The Friday night show sees Lukeman present The Immortal Songs of The 27 Club, where he will reimagine songs made legendary by artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, The Doors, The Rolling Stones, Nirvana and others.
Saturday’s performance turns the spotlight on Lukeman’s own catalogue with Jack Lukeman – Greatest Songs.
Drawing from across his albums, including Metropolis Blue, Magic Days, Universe, Broken Songs and Echo On, the set will also feature work from Lukeman's forthcoming album.
Lukeman first came to prominence in 1995 when he and The Black Romantics took up a residency at The Da Club (Dublin Arts Club) in Dublin. The band's set included interpretations of Jacques Brel along with several of Lukeman's own compositions. The band recorded the album Wax in 1995 before splitting in 1997.
Lukeman established himself as a solo artist and songwriter with his live work and his breakthrough 1999 album, Metropolis Blue.
Tickets for both shows go on sale this Friday, January 23, on ticketmaster.ie.
