LISTEN: Lapsley shares single + confirms album release

We'd singled her out as one to watch in 2015 - and while she might have delayed her takeover, Låpsley is primed to launch her assault on the music world at the start of this year.
A statement of intent has arrived in the form of atmospheric earwig 'Love Is Blind', the first taster from her upcoming album Long Way Home. The woman known to the taxman as Holly Fletcher – despite what the Scandinavian-style diacritic might suggest, she's from London – confirmed the LP will land on March 4.
And, from the sounds of it, the early buzz was entirely justified. Unveiled as Annie Mac's Hottest Record last night, it sees floating melodies intertwined with a fine pop sensibility – and a voice that you'll be hearing a lot more of very soon.
