The full line-up for The Johnny Fean Rhythm & Blues Festival has been announced.
The event runs from Friday, October 17-19 in Shannon and honours Horslips guitarist Fean, who died in 2023 at the age of 71.
Horslips, formed in 1970, are known for blending rock with traditional Irish music.
The guitar riff in their track 'Dearg Doom' was recreated in 'Put 'Em Under Pressure', the official song of the Republic of Ireland football team during the 1990 World Cup.
The festival features a mix of local and international musicians including Johnny Fean’s Blues Train, XIII Doors and The O’Malleys.
"Whether you’re a lifelong blues fan or simply looking for a fun weekend getaway, you’ll find plenty to enjoy," read a statement.
Gigs will take place at the Shannon Springs Hotel on Friday and Saturday and the Crossroads on Sunday.
Tickets are on-sale now and can be found here.
