LISTEN: Jape remixes Villagers

'The Waves' is our first taste of new Villagers and, as we await the 2013 release of second album Awayland, Conor O'Brien's contemporaries have kept themselves busy putting their stamp on the track.

First Mmoths had a go, now we have Jape stretching it out past the nine-minute mark. Now with added synths, check out the remix below.

Villagers are currently touring the UK with Grizzly Bear (no fair, the Irish nation groans), and return in November for dates in Belfast and Dublin. They'll be in the Black Box (Nov 11) and Whelans (Nov 13), with tickets already snapped up.
