LISTEN: Beck and Bat for Lashes collaboration

Bat for Lashes' Natasha Khan released one of her unused collaborations with Beck, using it to serve as the soundtrack for a short film of herself driving around Los Angeles. The track is one of many with Beck that the singer hinted at in an interview with Nowness, crafted a few years ago during a collaborative period with the artist.

This release is no precursor for a follow-up to 2012's The Haunted Man, as Khan announced in the same interview she announced that the band is currently on hiatus.

"I’ve got a huge desire to tell stories through film and paintings rather than just music, so Bat For Lashes is on hold for the meanwhile."
