Listen: The Amazons Drop New Single 'Mother'

The Amazons have released their new single 'Mother' ahead of their upcoming album.

'Mother' is a heavy rock tune and teases the sound of their yet-to-be-titled sophomore album, expected to be released this summer. The band formed in Reading, Berkshire in 2014 and were featured on several best new artists lists following the release of their debut LP The Amazons.

"In the age of social media we’re constantly told how to act, how to feel and how to think. This is a defiant song, challenging friends, gods and everyone in between," said frontman Matthew Thomson.
