Lily Allen still at No. 1 in singles chart
The chart battle is starting to heat up as Christmas nears . . .
Lily Allen’s cover of Keane’s ‘Somewhere Only We Know’ is still at the top of the charts this week. The song, which features in the current John Lewis Christmas ad, has enjoyed another strong week of sales in Ireland.
Continuing their ascent up the charts are One Direction who are at No. 2 this week with ‘Story of my Life’. The boy band are currently riding the wave of their just released third album Midnight Memories.
Hozier refuses to leave the top 5 with his ubiquitous single ‘Take Me To Church’ edging back up the chart to No. 3. Eminem and Rihanna’s collaboration ‘The Monster’ is at No. 4 while we have a new entry at No. 5 with Calvin Harris and Alesso feat Hurts with ‘Out of Control’.
Bastille, Martin Garrix, Gary Barlow, Original Rudeboys and Lorde make up the rest of the Top 10.
