Lil Wayne memoir to hit stores October 11
Gone Til’ November centers on the rapper’s stay in Rikers Island in 2010.
Penguin Publishing will release the Lil Wayne memoir Gone Til’ November: A Journal of Riker’s Island on October 11 this year. Penguin describes the book as a “deeply personal and revealing account”.
The 176-page book is based on diary entries Wayne wrote while incarcerated in Rikers Island in 2010. Its title comes from the first letter Wayne wrote while in prison, which was first published on the website Thank You, Weezy.
The project is long-awaited and much delayed; the memoir was originally expected to be released in November 2012 by Grand Central Publishing.
