Led Zeppelin reissuing expanded BBC Sessions
Song lost for 47 years included
Led Zeppelin will reissue an expanded version of 1997's BBC Sessions, this time as Complete BBC Sessions.
This reissue adds nine tracks to the original release, including the previously unreleased 'Sunshine Woman'. The song comes from a three-track session the band recorded in March 1969. The session was broadcast on AM radio, from which a European fan taped it. After the fan presented the tape to the band, Jimmy Page restored the recording.
The session also includes alternative cuts of 'I Can't Quit You Baby' and 'You Shook Me'.
The new tracks are rounded out by two previously unreleased cuts each of 'Communication Breakdown' and 'What Is And What Should Never Be', an unreleased cut of 'Dazed And Confused', and 'White Summer', which was previously only available in Led Zeppelin box sets.
The release will be released September 16 in three-CD, five-LP vinyl, digital download, and super-deluxe editions.
