Last orders for Jameson Film Competition 2011

Budding directors take note, Jameson's once again offering you the chance to show your talent and bag the chance to attend the Jameson Empire Awards in March.

The idea is simple – take a film of your choice and give it a 60 second makeover. Jim Sheridan, one of Ireland’s most successful ever directors, is among the judges selecting the best minute of footage.

Two Irish finalists will be announced in January. The international finalists from countries around Europe – including Ireland – will travel to London for a VIP weekend, with all 20 finalists gathering for a special 'Done in 60 Seconds' award ceremony on Friday March 27. A shortlist of five entries will be announced there – and the directors will attend the Jameson Empire Awards on March 29. In front of a room of top movie talent, one overall winner will be chosen and presented with their very own Jameson Empire Award.
