Last call to enter UCD Fresher's Week Battle Of The Bands in association with Hot Press

UCD Music Society's legendary Battle Of The Bands competition – presented in association with Hot Press – is set to return this Fresher's Week... and applications are closing soon!

Bands interested in performing live on the Fresher's Week Stage on September 15 can apply here – just note that at least one member of the band must be a UCD student to enter.

Here's what the winning act will receive:

• Inclusion in Hot Press’s scene-setting ‘Hot for 2027’ list
• €500 courtesy of XMusic
• A spot on the prestigious Whelan's ONES TO WATCH 2027 line-up
• Coverage of your band's performance on hotpress.com
• Selection of band photos provided for your own use
• A Hot Press Rapid Fire interview for social media
• An interview with Hot Press Magazine

"Make sure to throw your hat in the ring by filling out the form," organisers have stated. "We're looking forward to hearing your submissions!"
