Lana Del Rey has settled her legal dispute with Radiohead
The singer had claimed that the British band had asked for 100% writing credits for her song 'Get Free'.
Now, Lana Del Rey has claimed her copyright dispute with Radiohead over the song has been settled.
Earlier this year, the singer said that the band were suing her over apparent similarities between 'Get Free', from her 2017 album Lust For Life, and Radiohead's breakthrough single 'Creep'.
She then went on to claim that Radiohead had rejected her offer of 40% of the song's royalties. However, Radiohead's publishers denied taking legal action but confirmed they had asked for a writing credit to be added to the song.
According to the BBC, Del Rey appeared to tell fans the dispute was now settled during a show at Lollapalooza festival in Sao Paulo, Brazil, over the weekend.
After performing 'Get Free' in her encore, she lit a cigarette and told fans: "Now that my lawsuit's over, I guess I can sing that song anytime I want, right?"
However, the writing credits for "Get Free" had not been updated on the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers [ASCAP] database at the time of writing.
