Lana Del Ray reveals Lou Reed was supposed to appear on 'Brooklyn Baby'
Reed died the day they were set to record the song together.
In a interview with The Guardian, Lana Del Rey spoke on her recently released 'Brooklyn Baby' and its origins as a collaboration with the late Lou Reed.
"I took the red eye, touched down at 7am … and two minutes later he died," Del Rey said of the planned encounter.
Other topics that emerged from the expansive conversation included Del Rey's thought on a romantic death, how she's dealt with criticism and her early days in New York City.
