Kylie vs Kylie: Minogue opposes Jenner trademark application
What's in a name?
Kylie Minogue has launched a legal bid to prevent Kylie Jenner from trademarking her first name.
The reality TV star has designs on trademarking the name 'Kylie' in the United States - and, unsurprisingly, the pint-sized pop princess isn't best pleased. So much so, in fact, that Australian law firm KBD have been recruited to stop Jenner in her tracks.
Certainly, their arguments don't hold back, describing Jenner as a “secondary reality television personality” and “a supporting character” on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Minogue, meanwhile, has collected Grammy and Brit awards during a career in which she has sold more than 65 million albums.
