Kylie inflammable

Hot Press likes to think it has an eye for talent, but we’ve got to be honest and say that there was nothing about Kylie Minogue’s version of ‘The Locomotion’ that suggested she was an über-vixen of the future.

While not as blatantly explicit as Madonna’s Sex, Kylie La la la is pitched fair and square at the, ahem, more mature male reader. Thusly we get Kylie in her undies; Kylie phallically sucking on a straw; Kylie lying spread-eagled on a pool table; and Kylie looking like Marilyn, albeit minus the boobs.

It’s not all titillation, though, with former Vivienne Westwood’s aide de camp – we use the term advisedly – William Baker waxing lyrical about why Ms. Minogue is such a style icon.
