KTG to play tonight's Hot Press Lockdown Sessions

We've a stellar selection of dazzling Irish talent lined up across the weekend for the Hot Press Lockdown Sessions – including a live performance from KTG tonight, April 18, at 7.30pm on the Hot Press Instagram!

At just 23, Co. Longford singer-songwriter KTG, aka Katie Gallagher, has built up an enviable reputation on the Irish music scene. After completing her first nationwide tour of Ireland in 2018, she charted at No.2 on the iTune Singer-Songwriter Charts for three weeks with her stunning single 'Blue'. Since then, she's earned comparisons to the legendary likes of Joni Mitchell, Carole King and Wallis Bird – with acclaimed performances at Coughlans' in Cork, the Róisín Dubh in Galway, The Spirit Store in Louth, Whelan's in Dublin and The Harbour Bar in Bray. She also had the honour of performing for President Michael D. Higgins and his wife Sabina last year.

Following the success of Search For Magpies in 2019, KTG is gearing up for the release of her upcoming album The Long Road – led by previously released singles 'Get Out' and 'Do It Right'.
