Kraftwerk announce Dublin and Belfast tour dates
Tickets go on sale Friday, October 10th, at 10am on ticketmaster.ie
Kraftwerk have announced they will bring their Multimedia Tour to the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, Dublin, on May 17, 2026, and the Waterfront Hall Auditorium, Belfast, on May 18, 2026.
The tour marks the band's first since 2017, when they played the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre as part of their D-3 tour.
The multimedia project was started in 1970 by Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider. They set up their electronic Kling Klang Studio in Düsseldorf, where they wrote and produced all Kraftwerk albums. By the mid-1970s, Kraftwerk had achieved international recognition for their electronic sounds and their musical experimentation with robotics.
In 2014, founders Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider were presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Grammys.
The Multimedia tour will see Kraftwerk play a selection of their music from across their albums: Autobahn (1974), Radio-Activity (1975), Trans Europe Express (1977), The Man-Machine (1978), Computer World (1981), Techno Pop (1986), The Mix (1991), and Tour De France (2003), where they will use state-of-the-art graphics to enhance their music.
Tickets go on sale Friday, October 10th, at 10am on ticketmaster.ie.
