The Irish-language rap trio had been due to perform on the opening night of the TRNSMT festival in July.
KNEECAP shared news saying they have been removed from the TRNSMT musical festival in Glasgow due to safety concerns from police.
In a statement posted to Instagram, the Belfast rap group announced a new show at O2 Academy in Glasgow, writing: To the thousands of people who bought tickets, flights and hotels to see us play, we are sorry...it is out of our hands.
“Glasgow has always been a huge city for us. We’ve played there many many times, with no issues - ever. Make of that what you will.
“To try to make up for it, we will be at your O2 Academy on Tuesday July 8th”.
Tickets are on sale this Saturday 31 May at 10 am, with pre-sale available now via KNEECAP’s Whatsapp channel.

The group are still due to perform at Glastonbury Festival, where they are listed on the lineup for Saturday 28 June.
Police Scotland noted last week that going ahead with the trio’s performance at TRNSMT on 11 July would require “a significant policing operation”.
In another statement on the festival slot cancellation, the band added: "Kneecap didn't 'pull out' of TRNSMT - Kneecap were removed."
TRNSMT promoters DF Concerts said: "Due to concerns expressed by the police about safety at the event, Kneecap will no longer perform at TRNSMT on Friday, 11 July.
"We thank fans for their understanding."
The news comes as KNEECAP member Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh was charged by the Metropolitan Police, following an incident where Ó hAnnaidh was reported as waving a Hezbollah flag on stage at a concert last November.
Ó hAnnaidh, who performs under the name Mo Chara, is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Wednesday 18 June.
