Two Door Cinema Club announce UK and Ireland arena tour celebrating 15 years of Tourist History

Two Door Cinema Club have announced their first UK and Ireland arena tour in seven years.

The arena run celebrates the 15th anniversary of their debut album, Tourist History. 

Released in 2010, the album featured hits such as 'What You Know', 'Something Good Can Work', 'Undercover Martyn' and 'I Can Talk'. It hit No. 1 on the Irish Indie Album Chart and on the Official Irish Albums Chart, alongside winning the Choice Music Prize for Irish Album of the Year.

"It's been over seven years since we've done a UK and Ireland tour," said the band.

"Each and every one of those cities holds a special place in our hearts. We've played almost every venue there is to play in each of them, now it's time for the big ones. We can't wait.

The five-date run will begin at the 3Arena Dublin on January 23, before heading to Belfast's SSE Arena on January 24. It then continues to Glasgow's OVO Hydro on January 26 and Manchester's AO Arena on January 27, before concluding at the O2 in London on January 28 2027.

"The album had success in a way that we could have never imagined or prepared ourselves for, " Kevin Baird told Hot Press.

"Once that happened, the songs took on a life of their own and they kind of weren't really ours anymore."

"We never really stopped to think about the significance of some of the wildest parts of our lives and careers so far. Doing this anniversary tour has forced us to stop, sit back and think and appreciate some of these things."

Two Door Cinema Club just finished up performances in Cork, Live at the Marquee on June 23, and Dublin at Fairview Park on June 24.
