Kilkenomics Festival to kick off this weekend
Marble City to be taken over by debate
A dream for the philosophically minded (or the downright argumentative), Kilkenomics - the first European festival of its kind - is back for a fifth installment this weekend.
Running Thursday 'til Sunday, everything from the Arab Spring to water charges will be discussed by a range of guests. From economists like David McWilliams and Constantin Gurdgiev to funnymen Des Bishop and David O'Doherty, there's certainly an eclectic spread of voices and outlooks for what is sure to be a thought-provoking event.
There's shows all over the city throughout the four days; visit [link]kilkenomics.com[/link] for the full lowdown.
