According to the Official Irish Charts, 'Fake Fine' was also the fifth-biggest song by an Irish act of 2020.
This weekend also saw Robert hitting another major landmark: one million followers on TikTok.
'Fake Fine', which was originally released back in June, helped launch the Irish singer-songwriter to stardom. Despite the challenges of lockdown, he has emerged as one of the country's most thrilling new talents over the last nine months – clocking up performances on the Hot Press Y&E Series and The Late Late Show, as well as a set at Eurosonic.
His latest single, 'The Hurt You Gave Me', debuted at No.11 on the Official Irish Homegrown Chart on Friday.
