Kid Cudi drops new album Free
The project contains singles 'Mr. Miracle', 'Grave' and 'Neverland', with cover art inspired buy The Truman Show
Kid Cudi has released his 10th studio album Free.
The record contains no features, and is the rapper's first since 2024's Insano. The cover is said to be inspired by the classic Jim Carey film The Truman Show, with Cudi recreating the ending by stepping through a doorway in the sky.
“I wanted something that really expressed freedom, so the concept of me leaping into the clouds made so much sense,” Cudi wrote on social media. “Inspired by The Truman Show. I cant WAIT for u guys to hear this album and really see the album art brought to life. You’re in for a beautiful ride. Promise.”

The album arrives after the release of singles 'Mr. Miracle', 'Grave' and 'Neverland', the last of which was accompanied by a short film of the same name that premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.
The two-time Grammy winner also published a memoir earlier this month. In the book, real name Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi details his upbringing in Cleveland and his early career days in New York, as well as various stories about celebrities such as Sean 'Diddy' Combs, Kanye West, Louis Vuitton director Virgil Abloh, and falling outs with Shia LaBeouf and Drake.
