Karnivool announce The Academy headline show
Tickets go on sale Friday, April 25 at 9 a.m.
Australian hard rock band Karnivool have announced a headline show at Dublin’s The Academy on Wednesday, August 13, 2025.
The band shared the news on social media, writing: “Ireland, it’s about time. See you at The Academy Dublin on August 13. One night only.”
Karnivool are composed of Ian Kenny on vocals, Drew Goddard and Mark Hosking on guitars, Jon Stockman on bass, and Steve Judd on drums. Known for their dynamic live performances, the group has continued to tour internationally in recent years, including the 2023 Regeneration Tour across Europe and the 2024 Tri Continental Drift tour with appearances at Download and Hellfest.
The band have also started teasing their long-awaited fourth studio album, their first in 12 years. A recent Instagram post featured photos from the studio, captioned: “Our summer was pretty good. How about you?” The release date for the album has not yet been confirmed.
Their most recent release was their 2021 single ‘All It Takes’, which marked their first new music since 2013’s Asymmetry.
Tickets go on sale Friday, April 25 at 9 a.m., priced from €43.20 including booking and venue fees.
