Kanye meets with Trump at Trump Tower

Just about two weeks after being released from the hospital following his breakdown, Kanye West paid a visit to the American President-Elect at Trump Tower. The two met in the lobby of the tower in front of paparazzi, and then Kanye asked for a meeting with the President-Elect, which lasted about 15 minutes. Though there is no official statement regarding what the two met about, there are rumours that Kanye has offered to perform at Trump's inauguration. According to Trump, they were talking about "life."
Trump also said of Kanye, "He's a good man. We've been friends for a long time." Kanye himself had announced his support of Trump after the election, in front of an audience before he abruptly ended his tour for health reasons. Kanye has also repeatedly announced plans to run for office in 2020, so who knows, this friendship between the two of them could get a little more competitive in the next four years.
