Fans of the family festival will have to wait another year before enjoying the trip to west Wicklow.
Kaleidoscope 2021 will not occur this year and has been postponed to June 2022, organisers have announced.
The music and arts event, which "prides itself on being Ireland’s first fully inclusive family camping festival", have stated that they have decided to wait until next year before returning to Russborough House in Blessington, Co. Wicklow.
Those behind the festival stated that "We owe it to our ticketholders to provide clarity and certainty around the situation, and so have made the difficult decision to postpone this year’s festival until 2022."
"We have made this decision in support of family safety and wellbeing, one of our core values. As frustrating as this is for us all, it is simply the right thing to do."
They promise that Kaleidoscope will deliver "an even more unforgettable experience next year" when it returns.
Refunds are available from ticketmaster.ie for those that have already purchased tickets and are unable to attend the new dates of June 24-26, 2022, by logging into the "My Account" section of the website.
Tickets are also available for the new dates from the same website with family weekend camping tickets priced from €226.
The festival had also announced a brand new "Carnivale" themed area for their customers based on 19th Century circuses for that year's event.
They promised it would bring "other-worldly fun and adventure" with the section of the festival inspired by the glitz and glamour of the circus.
It would have been the festival's second-ever showing in Ireland, with the first Kaleidoscope occurring in 2019.
