Last sighted in Ireland at the Electric Picnic, Julian Cope returns to these shores on April 18 for an intimate show in Whelan's where tickets go on sale on Friday January 30 priced €25.

One of rock 'n' roll's true mavericks, the former Teardrop Explodes leader has released over 20 solo albums and authored six books, including his must-read Head-On autobiography.
The Dublin date follows on from the imminent release of his 1999-2014 Trip Advizor Best Of.
