The Temple Bar based Irish language group, Gaelchultúr Teo, have organised Spleodar na Nollag, a huge Christmas concert headlined by John Spillane.
The concert will take place in Temple Bar Music Centre on December 15 and tickets are available at a criminally low price of €15.
All proceeds from the event will go to the national charity AWARE whose main aim is to help defeat depression.
The night will showcase the best of Irish talent with Tadhg Mac Dhonnagáin who has sold in excess of 2,000 copies of his latest Irish language album Gugalaí Gug since it’s Autumn launch, singer songwriter Cricky, a member of the acclaimed Jimmy Hendrix Memorial Céilí Band, Grúpa Tí Sult and Traic.
MC on the night will be Radio na Gaeltachta’s Ronan Mac Aodh Bhuí.
