John Banville to 'talk to Joe' in MindField
Joe Duffy will conduct an hour-long interview with the Booker Prize winner.
The line-up for the Art Council Literary Tent, located in Electric Picnic's MindField Arena, has just been announced and is set to feature bigger names than ever before.
Aside from an in-depth conversation between Banville and Duffy, Booker Prize winners Roddy Doyle and Anne Enright will also be reading from their work.
Keeping rock's end up, original Woodstock promoter Michael Lang will appear alongside former Clash tour manager Johnny Green to discuss their respective novels. Salford punk-poet John Cooper Clarke will be on hand to perform some of his best loved poems.
Edel Coffey, Declan Burke, Eoin Colfer Ken Griffin, Claire Kilroy, Keith Ridgway, Kathleen MacMahon and Suzy Joinson are also on the bill.
It all happens this weekend at Stradbally.
