Jim White for The Village
David Byrne protegee Jim White gives Dublin a taste of his alt. country stylings when he plays a headlining gig next month
Alt. country fans are in for a treat on June 24 when former pro-surfer and male model Jim White plays the Dublin Village.
A native of Pensacola, he'll be plugging his wonderfully gothic Drill A Hole In That Substrate And Tell Me What You See album.

Plucked from cult obscurity by David Byrne's Luaka Bop label, White has been variously compared to Neil Young, Nick Cave and 'King Of The Road' man Roger Miller.
