Jerry Fish et al for Galway
The Roisin Dubh becomes a hive of eclectic activity next month with Jerry Fish, The Handsome Family and David Kitt among the coming attractions
Fresh from his triumphant visit to Glastonbury, Jerry Fish brings his Mudbug Club to the Roisin Dubh, Galway on July 16.
Purveyors of lounge lizard schmooze and mariachi passion, the band will be running through the highlights of their award winning Be Yourself album and previewing a batch of tracks from the eagerly-awaited follow up.
Tickets priced €20 are from Red Light Records, Mulligan and the Roisin Dubh.
Other must-see gigs at the newly refurbished venue – you have got to hear the sound system – include The Handsome Family (11); David Kitt (12); and John Spillane (14).
Kittser will be giving a judicious plug to Square One, his current album which has topped the Irish charts and gone platinum into the bargaining.
