Jay Z's music streaming service relaunches
The likes of Kanye West, Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna and Coldplay are supporting TIDAL on social media.
A new high-fidelity streaming service will soon be with us and it has some major artists backing it. TIDAL was purchased recently by Jay Z and will be relaunched this evening, offering lossless audio that is comparable in quality to CDs and HD video.
The Brooklyn star has called some of his famous friends to support and publicise the venture. The likes of Beyoncé, Coldplay, Madonna, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna and Kanye West have changed their online profile pics to TIDAL's blue colour, with Kanye tweeting:
Together, we can turn the tide and make music history. Start by turning your profile picture blue. #TIDALforALL

The service boasts a library of over 25 million tracks (including the back catalogue of Taylor Swift, who famously took her music off Spotify) and 75,000 videos and the app is available to music lovers in the Republic, ad-free, for €19.99 per month.
