Jamie Lawson announces Vicar Street date
With a Whelan's visit already scheduled for next month, Ed Sheeran's first charge has his sights set on bigger venues next year
While Jamie Lawson is spending this weekend supporting One Direction at 3Arena, he'll have the stage to himself when he returns to Ireland to play Vicar Street in January.
Already due to visit Whelan's next month, the singer-songwriter - who has lived in Dublin in the past - can't even wait until that's out of the way to plot his next visit to the capital, pencilling in a date in his New Year tour.
With his self-titled album hitting shelves today - his first release on Ed Sheeran's Gingerbread Man label - we expect to see his name high on the charts by next Friday; if you don't want to see the 'sold-out' signs when you look for tickets for the January 24 show, then move fast; priced €19, they're on sale now.
