Jameson to host global radio broadcast
Jameson will host radio channels from around the world this Friday to kickstart their St. Patrick's Day festivities.
The Old Jameson Distillery is opening its doors to 42 radio channels from nine countries around the world this Friday, March 15 as they kick-off their St. Patrick's Day festivities with the Jameson Global Broadcast.
Presenters from North and South America, Japan, India, Spain, Finland and Russia will be transmitting from the Smithfield, Dublin 7 distillery, giving their listeners a taste of what it is really like to experience St Patrick’s weekend in Dublin.
MD John Callely said of the event “We are delighted to once again host the Jameson Global Broadcast from the Old Jameson Distillery. Each year we get enthusiastic responses from radio stations and listeners around the world and we think it is a great platform to promote Ireland as a must visit destination.
"We are looking forward to welcoming international visitors, as well as those visiting from closer to home for a day out, to the Old Jameson Distillery during the St. Patricks festivities.”
As well as enjoying all the musical goings on, visitors will be able to purchase an exclusive limited edition St Patrick’s Day Jameson bottle designed by glass engraving artist David Smith, which will only be sold over the weekend.
