James Taylor hints at a Joni Mitchell comeback

According to an interview Taylor had with The Guardian, Joni Mitchell is supposedly working on new music.

In the interview Taylor reflects on his relationship with Mitchell and said that she’s recovering from a period of ill health back in 2015. “I think she’s coming back musically ... It’s amazing to see her come back to the surface.”

Mitchell suffered a brain aneurysm in March 2015 and was found unconscious at her home. Later that year, it was revealed that the singer was “walking, talking and painting” again after the injury, and now it seems she might be returning to singing.

Another thing Mitchell is bringing us, is the first-ever vinyl release of her best-selling 2007 album Shine this April.

James Taylor’s new album American Standard is released on February 28.
