The feature will hit Irish cinemas in January and Morricone will play at the 3Arena February 16
This January The Hateful Eight will be released in theatres showcasing life post-Civil War in Wyoming.
The upcoming feature will detail the bounty hunter John Ruth and his fugitive Daisy Domergue making their way to the town of Red Rock. On their journey, however, the duo encounters a variety of interesting people. First, they meet Major Marquis Warren (Samuel L. Jackson), a former Black union soldier turned famous bounty hunter and Chris Mannix (Walton Goggins), a southern renegade who claims to be the town's new sheriff. The four come together and seek refuge at Minnie's haberdashery, a stagecoach stopover on a mountain pass. When they arrive at Minnie's, however, they are not greeted by her, but by a number of unfamiliar faces including Bob (Demian Bichir), Oswaldo Mobray (Tim Roth), Joe Gage (Michael Madsen) and Sanford Smithers (Bruce Dern). The eight travellers soon learn that they may not reach Red Rock at all when a violent storm takes over.
The film directed by Quentin Tarantino will feature a new soundtrack to be released by Decca Records on December 18. The musical soundtrack will feature songs from the Italian composer, Morricone. While Tarantino has used Morricone's workin the past, this is the composer's first time recording music specifically for the film.
In addition to Morricone's comendable efforts for his music featured in The Hateful Eight, the Italian musician will also play at the 3Arena in Dublin on February 14, 2016.
The Hateful Eight will officially open nationwide on January 8, 2016.
