Harry Potter's Matthew Lewis to star in London play Unfaithful
Irish playwright Owen McCafferty brings the blackly comedic play Unfaithful to the London stage, with stars Matthew Lewis, Sean Champion, Niamh Cusack and more.
With his awkward childhood now firmly behind him, Matthew Lewis has been making a name for himself - one wholly separate from the Harry Potter universe, where the star first got his start in the acting business.
His newest project, the play Unfaithful, has him cast as a young man caught up in an affair with an older woman.
The play has been described as a black comedy, one that takes an unflinching look at relationships on the brink of disaster. The play depicts the domino effect of consequences that follows after two people in rocky relationships meet and allow hidden desires to cloud their better judgment.
The cast also features Sean Campion (Stones in His Pockets), Niamh Cusack (The Winter's Tale) and Ruta Gedmintas (Backbeat). It is directed by Adam Penford (A Small Family Business).
Unfaithful runs at Found111 from August 31 to October 8, with previews from the 25th of August.
