Blondshell announces Dublin show with special guests Theatre
Dublin is the last stop on her Scaring Strangers tour.
American indie-rock singer Blondshell has announced she will be performing in the Academy, Dublin, on December 17.
She paired the news of her tour with the release of a new single, 'Heart Has To Work So Hard'.
"This song is really about friendship and betrayal, getting stuck in a dynamic and letting things fester," she said.
"It's about pain and confusion - no one trains you for the ups and downs of a friendship between two women - but it's also about a love so enduring that you find compassion no matter what."
Real name Sabrina Teitelbaum, has mapped out a tour with some of the biggest headlining dates of her career.
After her live sets across North America, including music festivals such as Bonnaroo and Summerfest, she finishes off her European leg in Dublin.
She spent several years releasing pop music under the name BAUM, before going by Blondshell in 2022 with the single 'Olympus'.
Since then she has released two studio albums, Blondshell in 2023, and If You Asked for a Picture in 2025.
Her Academy performance will feature special guest THEATRE, a five-piece alt-noise and shoegaze band from Limerick.
Tickets go on sale here, May 22 at 10am.
