Batman V Superman, released today, got $27.7 Million during last night’s preview night, making it the 7th best preview opening of all time.

Despite early mixed reviews, Batman V Superman has had a strong premiere with $27.7 Million in earnings on its preview night alone.

Still, the film has a long way to go if it is going to make any money; Variety estimates that Batman V Superman will need to gross $800 million worldwide if it wants to make up its investment.
