American Horror Story renewed for a sixth season

Everybody's favourite blood-curdling and chilling horror TV flick is being renewed for a sixth season.
Currently on its fifth instalment, American Horror Story has garnered a massive audience that has become intrigued and mesmerized by the freaky and horrific storyline.
In the most recent season, Lady Gaga makes an appearance as the core protagonist, along with Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Finn Wittrock and Wes Bentley.
The renewal for another season is not all too surprising, especially since American Horror Story was announced as FX's highest rated series in history.
“With the sixth instalment coming next year, American Horror Story has unquestionably joined the ranks of television’s landmark series,” said FX Network's CEO John Landgraf . "From Murder House to Hotel, AHS has pioneered a new television form, as well as becoming FX’s highest-rated show, while also pushing every conceivable boundary of creative excellence and audacity."
He added, "This is even more remarkable because Ryan and co-creator Brad Falchuk tear up the playbook every year, challenging the entire creative team to come up with something even more spectacular, frightful and entertaining. You could not ask more of an artist, their team or a series and with every new installment they deliver."
It is not clear yet what the plot of the sixth season will be, but we can only hope for something that will make us shake in our boots. All we know so far is that Lady Gaga has been asked to return as a part of the cast, and that the filming of the series will be scheduled to work with her touring schedule.
