Hozier returns with new Meduza dance collaboration 'Tell It To My Heart'

Italian dance trio Meduza exploded onto the scene last year with global hit 'Piece Of Your Heart (ft. Goodboys)’.

Hozier has unveiled a new collaboration between himself and Italian DJ outfit Meduza, 'Tell It To My Heart'.

The new single dips its toes in everything house: tantalising deep basslines and plenty of synths. The 'Nina Cried Power' singer's trademark vocal power works well with the dance track, despite his lack of experience with the genre in previous years. It's definitely a left-field move for Hozier.

The Wicklow multi-platinum tour de force burst onto the scene in 2013 with his debut single, ‘Take Me To Church’. He has since cemented his status as one of the world’s foremost singer-songwriters with No. 1 sophomore album Wasteland, Baby!.

Meduza (stylized as MEDVZA) is an Italian production trio consisting of Luca de Gregorio, Mattia Vitale and Simone Giani. Meduza's breakout track 'Piece of Your Heart' clocked up over one billion combined streams since its release, earning a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording. The duo teamed up with Dublin musician Dermot Kennedy on 2021 single 'Paradise', which flew up the charts and became an Irish No. 1.

Another single with Elroii has also landed, titled 'Headrush'. It follows Meduza's collaborations with the likes of Becky Hill, Goodboys and Shells.
