Hot Press writer Jackie Hayden has been honoured by Wexford Library who have included a detailed interview with him as part of a new Oral History Archive launched by Wexford County Council last week.
Hayden, who now resides in Wexford, was interviewed for the project by former South East Radio presenter Alan McGuire, and covered such topics as his early upbringing, work history, careers with CBS Records and Hot Press, his links with U2 and his writing of several books, including My Boy about Phil Lynott and A Man In A Woman’s World, about his experiences in the arena of rape and sexual abuse.
