Hot Press Critics' Tracks Of 2010
Our Hot Press Critics' Tracks Of The Year makes for interesting reading and even better listening. It's an eclectic (or vaguely schizophrenic) list that takes in everything from indie to primary pop, electro and hip-hop. Lady Gaga takes the top prize for the pop contingent this year with her 'Telephone', but tracks from Gorillaz and Kings Of Leon are hot on her heels. The National's 'Bloodbuzz Ohio', which was quite frankly played to death here at Hot Press Towers, is another stand-out. It still sounds great, as do all of the top 30. It was all good on the Irish front as well - Conor J O'Brien is there with 'Becoming A Jackal', Cathy Davey with 'Little Red'. Check out the full top 30 (in order) below and give the soundtrack to the year a spin.
