Hot For 2023 Irish Acts: Exhalers
Bringing you the best up-and-coming homegrown acts to look out for over the next 12 months...
Exhalers
After spending the last decade-plus earning a reputation for himself as the north’s answer to journeyman tub-thumper Vinnie Appice, Alan Lynn – who has previously played in LaFaro, Therapy? and Ash – decided to step away from his kit and into the spotlight. Calling his new project Exhalers, this one-man band has since evolved into a more traditional set-up. They’ve already unleashed a brace of eardrum-battering albums, which bothered more molars than a short-sighted dentist. Informed by both the Foos and the Biff, expect more titanic riffage this year.
