MARIA SOMERVILLE

The Connemara musician first emerged back in 2013, later signing to 4AD. The Galway act draws on folk forms alongside post-punk, traditional Irish motifs and starry eyed pop, with Somerville’s self-released debut, the ambient 2019 collection All My People, acting as the perfect entry to her world. In 2021, Maria made an appearance on 4AD's 40th anniversary compilation project, Bills & Aches & Blues, covering Air Miami's 'Seabird'.
