Hot for 2020 Irish Acts: Lydia Ford
Prompted by a love of Avril Lavigne, the Mayo native picked up a guitar aged nine and began crafting her own alt-pop bangers. The years of hard work paid off: Ford has enjoyed extensive radio play and landed a coveted Song Of The Week nod on 2fm. Having played Ireland Music Week last year, the singer is gearing up to release a new single in March.
Hear: The Bad Things EP.
See: Catch her in Whelan’s on April 17.
