Hard Working Class Heroes line-up announced [updated]
La Rocca, Fair Verona, Iain Archer and the emerging Irish supergroup The Radio are just some of the 100 artists performing at next month's event
The line-up for this year's Hard Working Class Heroes festival has been announced with 100 of the country's top acts getting to play Dublin showcases between September 3 and 5.
While you'll have to go to www.hwch.net for the full line-up, some of the acts hotpress.com will be endeavoring to see are Fair Verona, The Chalets (pictured), Iain Archer, Immunize, Jeff Martin, Jesse & Layla, La Rocca, Mainline, Nina Hynes, Fairuza, Republic Of Loose, Pony Club, The Radio, The Miracles and Veneer.
The live action takes place in Meeting House Square, Temple Bar Music Centre, Eamon Doran's, The Hub, The Mezz and St. Michael's Church with a season ticket just €20.
Talking of The Radio, their Hot Press-endorsed debut album emerges on August 20 through Reekus with distribution being handled by RMG. We'll also be talking to the band, who include assorted ex-members of Johnny Pyro, Rollerskate Skinny and Chicks, in our next issue, out Thursday, August 12.
