Greg Clifford Debut Solo Album Launch
The star of RTE's Instrumental launches his debut solo album this weekend
You might recognise Greg Clifford. The Inchicore man was the undoubted star of RTE's Instrumental alongside John Murray, Brent Pope and Manuela Spinelli, as his accomplished display on the clarinet brought the National Concert Hall crowd to their feet.
Playing in front of large crowds isn't new to Greg Clifford though, the classically trained multi-instrumentalist had previously been a member of now defunct Dublin three-piece Elavator, while his musical studies at NUI Maynooth took him touring across Europe with the Diversus Guitar Ensemble.
Although primarily a guitarist, his debut EP, and soon to be released album, also feature Greg playing piano bass and drums.
Greg is launching his self-titled debut album this coming Saturday, December 1 upstairs in Whelans. Tickets are available from the venue, and on the night for €8. And being the sound lad that Greg is, he's gonna throw in a free copy of the album too.
